WRITE THROUGH HEARTBREAK
A Poetry Practice
Seven writing prompts for when your heart hurts and you don’t know what to do with it.
Something ended.
And now everything feels louder.
Your thoughts won’t slow down.
Your chest feels tight for no clear reason.
You keep replaying conversations that already happened.
You’re not looking for advice.
You’re not trying to “heal” yet.
You just need somewhere for all of this to go.
Why Nothing You’ve Tried Has Helped
You tried journaling.
You opened a notes app.
You stared at the page.
Nothing came out.
Not because you’re bad with words —
but because heartbreak doesn’t respond to blank space.
It needs a place to start.
You don’t need to write about everything.
You don’t need to understand how you feel.
You need one sentence that unlocks the rest.
That’s what these prompts do.
Because A Broken Heart is an Open Heart
Time doesn’t heal you... your actions this week do. This is for women who are done waiting for the pain to fade, and are ready to actively rebuild their next chapter. It's time to become the architect of your own future.
This is the space to introduce visitors to the business or brand. Briefly explain who's behind it, what it does and what makes it unique. Share its core values and what this site has to offer.
You're here because the story you were living has ended.
And the ending left a kind of silence you don’t know what to do with.
You wake up too early. Your chest feels tight. The world looks washed out. You keep replaying old conversations because your mind believes there’s still something left to save. You pretend you’re fine so your friends won’t worry, but you feel like your insides have slipped out of your hands.
You’re tired of reading vague quotes about healing. You’re tired of people saying “time will help.”
Time isn’t helping.
You can feel it — if you don’t do something intentional, this pain will settle into your identity and stay there. You refuse to let this be the story that defines you.
You need something clearer. Smaller. More human. Something you can hold on to for a week.

This is where you stop drifting and start building.
Write Through Heartbreak
Write Through Heartbreak is a focused set of seven writing prompts, each designed to meet a specific moment of heartbreak.
Each prompt includes:
-
a clear context
-
one strong starter line
-
a direct instruction that keeps you specific and grounded
No lessons. No techniques. No overthinking.
Just writing that actually starts.

GROW THROUGH WHAT YOU'RE GOING THROUGH
7 Days of Writing Yourself Back
It’s micro-rituals that interrupt the spiral, redirect the brain, and rebuild your identity through action.
What You’ll Write About
-
the moment something quietly changed
-
what you kept defending even when it hurt
-
the future you thought you were walking into
-
what you confused for love
-
the version of you that stayed too long
-
what you’re finally done carrying
-
who you are without the story you were living
You can write one page.
You can write all seven.
You can come back when it hits again.

"I was completely lost after my breakup. Day 2 of the protocol was the first time in six months I felt a glimmer of hope. By Day 7, I felt like myself again—not the old me, but a stronger, clearer version. This wasn't about 'getting over it'; it was about building what's next."
– Sarah P.

Who is guiding you?
I’m Charlotte. I'm messy and I'm organized and I'm still trying to piece my own self together.
I am not a guru on a mountain. I am a writer who has spent years studying the art of being alone without being lonely. I have written books about the ache, and I have built a community of millions who are all just trying to figure out how to bloom in solitude.
I created this Protocol because I needed it. I created it for the version of me who was crying on the bathroom floor, wishing someone would just tell her what to do next.
I am offering this to you now, from my heart to yours.

You were never meant to be a victim of your story. You were born to be the architect of it.It's time to pick up the tools and start building.
