My name is Charlotte Eriksson and I have been a full-time songwriter, recording artist and author for 10 years. I have managed to stay completely independent while building an engaging online following that has enabled me to tour all over Europe, release 3 full-length albums, 8 EPs, get radio plays on major radio, reach #2 on the Swedish iTunes chart and publish 4 books.
I started my own artist collective Broken Glass Records after feeling frustrated with not finding a management or agency that matched my values and artistic vision. I decided to run my company with dedication and pride, so that I could keep my artistic integrity when it comes to the pure art of songwriting and performing.
I educated myself in business, communication, marketing and digital strategy, which immediately set me on the right path towards building my own super tribe of fans and supporters.
I know how much time, energy and passion we all put into the creation of our art. The songwriting, recording, production, mixing, going completely broke to bring a band on tour and hustling to stay afloat. It saddens me to see so many great artists create amazing content and music without reaching the audience they deserve.

I utilised two different custom audiences to target an audience who have showed an interest in acoustic live performance videos. I deliberately wanted to reach people who could be potential fans of my released studio albums and niched my audience even further by also targeting people who have showed interest in similar artists and bands.

Release Announcement (Book Launch)
To spread the word about my third book and reach people who would love my message, I set up a combination of Facebook ads + Instagram ads, utilizing custom audiences to reach people who had previously showed interest in my books, quotes and writings. As you can see from the screen-shots, the campaigns resulted in a beautiful reach that went on to spread organically through shares and people tagging their friends. This resulted in larger FB-pages picking up quotes from the books to share with their followings which directly resulted in book sales, email newsletter sign-ups and brand awareness.
